Are you struggling with your golf swing? There are probably very few golfers on the course today who would say that they aren’t struggling with their swing because of one problem or another. Whether it’s a hook or slice or lack of distance or balls that fly too low, most golfers have one or more problems they want to address. While it’s true that very often a poor golf swing is the result of a poor technique, sometimes it’s also due to a bad choice of clubs! A golf club is not like a football where you need to adjust yourself to its shape and size but instead, your clubs should be a good fit for your own particular abilities, physical build, and so on. Your technique is important when it comes to your golf swing, but using the wrong clubs is like trying to make a wedding cake with a frying pan – the best techniques in the world will not make the end result any good! Technique and equipment need to work together when it comes to a good golf game.

So how can you be sure that you’re choosing the right clubs for your own golf swing? For one thing, you don’t want to choose your clubs based on what anyone else uses or because of a slick marketing campaign. Clubs are as personal as shoes – imagine trying on the shoes of a friend or buying a pair that Tiger Woods wears. They would work for that person but probably not for you! Your golf swing is affected by the clubs but your own physical strength, height, coordination, flexibility, and so on. As an example, the loft of clubs refers to the angle of the clubface. A higher number on a club means more loft which means more arc or trajectory of the ball when it’s struck. Someone with shorter arms may need that addition loft to assist with their golf swing, whereas someone with longer arms may actually overdo it if they use a club with too much loft.

Golf clubs are also made from many different materials and these are usually meant to address specific problems with a golf swing or to fit the golfer’s individual needs. A person with less physical strength may need something that’s lighter so that there is more flex, which creates a whip effect on the swing. Someone that’s physically stronger might actually cause the ball to go too far when using a club with a lot of flex and may lose control of the ball’s direction. The materials used for different clubs will greatly affect one’s golf swing but it’s important to make sure that you’re using what is right for your swing.

Choosing the right clubs is something that should be done with patience. Rushing into a decision to purchase or just grabbing a club from your bag without really sizing up your shot will mean a poor game and a poor golf swing.

Do you have a clear understanding of exactly how each of your clubs will hit the ball during ideal conditions? In the past, golfers would just go by feel when choosing a club for each of their shots.
Then came professional golfer Deane Bemon. In the 1950s, he was considered the first person to decide which club he was going to use that was based entirely on how many yards there were to his target.
If Bemon was facing a shot that was 125 yards to the flagstick and if his pitching wedge was the club that would cause the ball to travel that exact distance, he would use that club! Choosing the right club for each shot boiled down to a science for Deane Bemon.
This particular golf strategy was initially frowned upon by most golfers. However, in just a very short period of time, the method of choosing the right golf club, by knowing exactly how it will cause the ball to travel, has become the standard for most players of today.
Another famous golf player, a professional known as Jack Nicklaus, learned this exact technique from Mr. Bemon and went on to become one of the greatest golf players of all-time.
Take Notes
By now you probably realize just how effective it is to know your clubs, so to speak. You need practice this same strategy as the professionals did in the past so that you can start hitting your ball as close to the intended target as possible.
If you do not have a clear idea of approximately how far you hit the ball with each of your clubs, you will repetitively hit shots that are either too far or too short, and your scorecard will prove it. Do yourself a favor and take the time to remove the guesswork of how far your golf clubs will hit the ball. Not only will your score improve, but your accuracy and concentration levels will increase.
Learn How Far You Can Hit The Ball With Each Club
Even though specific clubs are designed for long shots and other clubs were made for shorter ones, the distance that different players can hit the very same club will vary tremendously. This is why so many beginner golfers do not get the results they want from a club that is supposed to hit the ball in a certain way.
The best way to learn specifically what you can accomplish with each golf club is to find a large field that is big enough to handle the travel distance of your longest drive. Make sure that there are no windy conditions that day, and of course be positive that the field is empty for obvious safety reasons.
Now take out each club and hit 7 to 10 shots with every one. After each shot, measure the distance by pacing off how far each ball traveled. In order to measure correctly, you need to read the distance in yards. In order to do this, simply take out a yardstick and take one step forward to cover the entire length. All you have to do now is take the same strides and walk the distance of each swing to learn exactly how many yards each your clubs will hit the ball.

Sporting events have been one of the most commonly engaged in past time activities. You can either enjoy yourself through the physical welfares of the sport or by simply taking time to collect items that will best define you as an enthusiast of that certain sport. One certain sport that has taken the globe by storm is golf. Nowadays supporters are not only fond of watching the game’s great heat it up on the green but also these loyalists find themselves constantly picking out collectibles that will fill up their shelves. The industry of golf collectibles has really made it big in the market but do you ever wonder how this sport came into being in the first place?

Let’s travel back in time to find out how the sport of golf has made its way into the hearts of many avid fans. The specific origin of the sport is not clearly identified but it is said that it developed during the high middle ages in Scotland. This was the widely accepted theory in the golfing circles. But there are also other facts that state otherwise. Let’s find out.

The Dutch can debate with their Scottish neighbors as according to historians there was a certain golf-like game which took place on the 26th of February in 1927. This game was done in the city of Loenen aan de Vecht in the Netherlands. The game’s objective was to hit a target situated within several hundreds of meters away from the participants. A leather ball and a stick were used for the said game. Another thing is that a similar game as that of golf was played in Netherlands during the 17th century. The argument was that this was earlier done as that of the game played in Scotland.

The Chinese also wanted to prove they had something to do with the birth of golf. There was a certain Professor Ling Hongling from Lanzhou University who stated that a game having similarity with golf we know today was played in China particularly during the Southern Tang Dynasty which was actually 500 years ahead of the one associated with Scotland. Records from the Song Dynasty also show drawings of a game called chuiwan. This game utilized a total of ten clubs such as cuanbang, pubang, and shaobang. This trio is said to be the same with the present golfing clubs which are the driver, two-wood, and three-wood. The Chinese version of golf had a rich background and in a very literal way as it was found out that clubs were made with jade and gold.

Scotland fought back through the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews which was recognized as one of the earliest golfing organization in the country. It clearly and proudly stated that the 18-hole game of golf came from Scotland. Furthermore the game of golf was clearly stated that the Acts of the Scottish Parliament during the 15th century prohibited the playing of gowf twice because it was sharing precious practice time with archery. Archery at that time was very essential to maintain a potent national defense.
Technically the game of golf cannot be taken away from the Scottish people. It was in this country that first written rules came into being. Scotland also was home to the very first permanent golf course. The first official tournaments were also held in various Scottish cities.

Golf’s collectibles does not only embody a hobbyists passion for the game but rather each item tells a little bit of story at how the game how grown throughout the centuries.

The main purpose of golf training ebook reviews is to offer the reader a good insight into the various golf training ebook tutorials available on the Internet. Every golf training ebook has something different to offer in it’s approach to a workable system. Some will offer tips and techniques of swinging, chipping and putting and others will concentrate on golf fitness training or the mental approach to the golf game.

The benefits in reading golf training ebook reviews are many and varied. Firstly, they offer readers the opportunity to assess the potential of a cross section of the most popular golf training ebook tutorials, highlighting the features and strengths of each product. This is extremely useful for any golfing enthusiast who is seeking to better his/her game and needing some quality golf training advice. Deciding which of the many available golf training ebooks would be more likely to provide the most useful advice on techniques to raise the level of his/her play, can be a daunting task, so perusing through golf training ebook reviews can help the reader to make the correct decision.

As most golf training ebooks will typically offer advice on the different aspects of how to improve one’s golf, the reader should first identify the parts of his/her game that require the most improvement. Then, by refering to the golf training ebook reviews, they are able to narrow their search down to the golf training ebooks which offer the most relevant help and advice. Also, by visiting the product sales page they will soon get a clearer picture of the one golf training ebook containing the advice on techniques the reader will need to improve his/her golf game.

Of course, there are many so called ‘review sites’ that simply copy and paste relevant information from the product sales page, maybe changing a word or two here and there and the review ends up reading much like an advertisement for that product. This type of golf training ebook review will offer nothing in the way of credible advice. A good golf training ebook web site will typically be constructed by those who have obtained copies of each of the golf training ebooks on review, and actually test drive the systems described noting the effects of the techniques taught in each tutorial.

Apart from highlighting the useful content described in the various golf training ebooks, a good reviewer will also offer comments on many of the other strong points of each product, for example, how easy the lessons are to follow, does the tutorial offer step-by-step instruction, are the training tips accompanied by sketches, diagrams and illustrations and whether the product is supported by a 100% guarantee with a full refund if the system fails to make a difference.

Reviews of ebooks generally will often make a point of mentioning the number of pages in the complete publication. Although an interesting fact, this information typically has little bearing on the usefulness of the tutorial’s content. For example, a golf training ebook with as little as 20 pages will maybe teach you techniques that will slice 7 or 8 shots off your score, whereas a 100 page similarly presented golf training ebook may describe a system in much greater detail that will only cut your score by 3 or 4 shots. The number of pages in an ebook tutorial is mostly irrelevant!

Another obvious benefit of reading golf training ebook reviews is that the review sites often contain a comprehensive listing of all the golf training ebooks available on the Web, which can save the reader countless hours in searching the Internet. The web site reviewer/owner has already done the hard work of finding products and they are now all listed together which makes it far easier for the reader to make instant comparisons of the various available products.

So for those golf enthusiasts who are searching for quality golf training ebooks in an effort to lower their scores, they are well advised to find and use the information offered by a good golf training ebook reviews web site, which will often point them in the direction of the right tutorials to suit their own personal needs, rather than investing in a product that either fails to cover the particular aspect of golf that interests them, or worse still, teaches nothing they didn’t already know!

Trevor Taylor

The hardest part of golf is consistency. It is not possible for any human to hit a golf ball perfectly 100% of the time. That includes Tiger Woods. However, what very goof golfers is consistently hit the ball very well the majority of the time. They hit it nearly perfect quite a lot of time.

What sets them apart is consistency. Even those at the top of their game have days they don’t get their shots right too many times. Golfers can only get that consistency is through practice. This is the only thing that can really help.

Consistently bad shots are another matter that needs to be addressed. This is the major matter when it comes to gold consistency. To make something a natural behavior you must do it consistently. The also applies to poor technique. Address poor golf techniques as soon as possible. The sooner you start working on them the sooner you will be able to practice the correct methods. Then you can start making the new actions second nature. The best thing is for everyone to get professional instruction before ever attempting to play a round of golf. That way they won’t learn bad techniques and need to relearn them at a later time.

I would recommend before ever attempting a round of golf newcomers have lessons. Learning how to use one club well is an alternative to lessons. You probably want to learn how to play with the 7 iron. Play the entire round or nine holes using just the 7 iron and a putter.

One player I knew I knew make dramatic improvements to his game by using this technique

This happened after he had been playing for years. He began playing golf with only the 7 iron and his putter. Once he perfected his swing, he introduced other clubs one at a time. Once he perfected his swing with the 7 iron he went on to master the other club with ease.

When it comes to the European Golf Tour, there are actually a few different varieties. There is the PGA European Tour and the Ladies European Tour which are the two most major, and which have many similarities but many differences as well.

PGA Tour

The PGA Tour is one of the most recognized golf tours in the world today, and it is based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. It became a separate entity in the year 1968, and it does not run any of the four major golf tournaments or the Ryder Cup. There are a couple of different tours that are operated by the PGA Tour, namely the PGA Tour, the top tour, the Champions Tour, for golfers age 50 and over, and the Nationwide Tour, a second-level tour.

Ladies European Tour

This is the second most popular and well known professional European golf tour, and it is a professional golf tour for women, which was founded in 1979 and which uses an Order of Merit. This Order of Merit is awarded to the leading money winner on the tour, and the Player`s Player of the Year is voted by the members of the Tour for the member they believe has contributed the most to the season on the Tour.

Getting on the Tour

If you are interested in getting on either of these European golf tours, then you really have to prove yourself in whatever area of golf you are presently in. There are certain eligibility requirements that are necessary, and if you want more information on this then you should speak to a representative from the European golf tour, which you can do either by telephone or email, and this way you will be able to speak to someone who is experienced in this area and who will be able to tell you everything you are going to have to do.

Golf is one of the most popular and enjoyable sports in the world and incredibly popular all around the world. Participating in golf tours is not only enjoyable for you but also for others to watch and learn from your talent. Make sure that you learn as much as you can about these sorts of tours if you are really and truly interested in getting involved with them yourself, and of course take as much time as you possibly can to sharpen up your game and become as great a golf player as you can.
