I can attest that the Callaway HX Hot Plus golf ball is an excellent choice and if you haven’t used them before, I would recommend that you try them. I can also confirm that the product that is shipped is genuine and matches the description perfectly; however, they can be found elsewhere significantly cheaper.

After conducting exhaustive price comparisons while Christmas shopping for the prior 2 years, Amazon consistently had the best prices. This Christmas I decided not to go through the painful process of shopping for the same item in 4 different locations and just ordered everything I could from Amazon before heading out to the stores for a few remaining items on my lists. Much to my dismay, I found several of the items I ordered this year at a significant discount in brick & mortar stores this Christmas. I paid $[...] for this item at Amazon and found them for $19.97 at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Dallas, TX. The Amazon website wanted to charge me $[...] to return this item, but a quick phone call to customer service yielded a free prepaid shipping label to return the item at no cost.

I’m a mid handicap golfer in the teens. I like this ball because I get both the distance I want off the tee, but more importantly the feel around green that I desire.

For the price, the ball is an exceptional value. I got it through [...]. It looks like they have a fantastic assortment of everything a golfer needs and wants. Prices looked good and they gave me free shipping.

For my game this is the best ball going for the money. I’m sure there are some with better feel around the green, and there are probably some that are longer, but at my current 14 handicap, this ball goes plenty far, holds up well (although they do scuff on occasion), and is as playable as any I’ve played.

I would highly recommend this ball for any mid handicapper that is at all price conscious.

I’m a 6 handicap I find that I don’t have the swing speed to properly compress ProV and other premium balls, I play with younger golfers (I’m 46) and they all hit it very long, trying to keep up I regularly research and test anything that may help me. I found this ball to be about 5 yards longer that anything I have tried with the irons (NXT, Bridgestone e5/6, and other sub $30.00 ball). This ball is long 10 yards or more with the driver, and putts soft! With the Irons it is average feel with 1/2 to 1 full club more distance. Flight is not too high but it works great. The iron fell will be fine specially if you use graphite shafts. I use steel S Irons and it is OK. This is loger that most Pinacles I know but with better feel and lower trajectory. Great ball for the money.
