The object of the game of golf is to shoot pars, birdies, eagles, double eagles and aces.How do you do it? Hit the golf ball down the middle of the fairway – chip it onto the green and putt it into the cup!
All golfers have this as their goal, but they are more likely shooting bogeys, double bogeys, triple bogeys, the snowman, the hangman and the Bo Derek due to their less than perfect swing. They are teeing up their ball, swiveling their hips, putting a death grip on the club and attempting to kill the ball. The results are the hosel rocket, the duck hook, the banana ball, the wormburner or the dreaded chili dip.

You can tell a person who loves the game of golf by his brightly colored neat attire, his bright and shiny golf shoes, his professional looking bag, sparkling clubs and he actually uses new brand name balls. He plays golf about once a month, slices his drives, airmails his chip shots but is a putt putt whiz – he drops 50 footers regular and often.
