53to3 you need to watch videos of David Duval, Todd Hamliton, Henrik Stenson, Annika they all rotate there head towards the target at the start of the downswing. Don’t rip this guy unless you know all the facts. This is a great tip to get your body to rotate in the downswing. It is good for older players who don’t have flexibility; it helps them turn and create more speed.

    @53to3

CUNT ? now thats a bit harsh …

If you ask me his swing is very smooth and looks great.. Im sure he hits the ball very well.

I think he is simply pointing out that keeping your head still isnt always the 1st and best tip .. and that allowing some movement in the head.. it unlocks the rest of the body …

Anyhow .. allow me to direct this one at you .. ~~ Cunt !! ~~

Unbelievable. “What i want you to do is throw your head totally out of balance so you duff, shank, slice and hook the ball” How about you rotate your head while maintaing your neck tilt’s? Check out Mac O’Grady if you want to see how to swing a golf club! This guy is an idiot. Btw one player doesn’t make a great teacher. There are players out there my mum could have taught and they would still have been great!

    Howdy scratchgolfgirl.
Would have been nice to meet you at the Hope. I worked with Jesper through San Diego and 1 round at the Northern Trust as his back pain was too much. Come to find out his L4 was fractured. Says a lot as to his work ethics! At any rate, the video tips on the web site are only about 5% of the total information of each clip. I do get a lot of negitive comments but that’s the beauty of golf. No right, no wrong just open to inturtpretation and it’s free.
    Thx for the comment

Geez, so many golf pros here leaving crap comments. this guy has been working with Jesper Parnevik. I saw them working at the Bob Hope. This guy is miles ahead of most you hacks.

there is a slight movement of the head– but only a inch or two. this is to release the right side of your neck muscles which helps SLIGHTLY … IF YOU DIDNT YOU WOULD END UP WITH A STIFF NERK FROM THE JERKING AT THE END. after the neck the left patella is the last muscle to work. get your swing wrong and these are the points of injury.

It is true…I just got a speed meter and turning the head registers a faster swing speed

Who gives a fudge what other golfers do?? If you’re still watching what others are doing, you’re still not doing it right based on YOUR game.

  12. scotte97 | Mar 21, 2010 | Reply

In principle this makes sense, even though many tour players have their heads still at impact, there is a big difference between having your head ‘still’ and keeping your head ‘down’. If you look at Annika Sorenstams swing in slow motion you will notice that she has a a lot of head movement.

you must keep your eyes still on the ball , but after impact the head has to move up ,,, all this kind of instruuction will fuck up anyones game ,,, i shot a 70 a month ago now after searching for a better swing i cant break 78 , fuck golf its just too damn mental

I am a former U.S. MARINE and a scratch golfer. to fire a rifle at a target u must keep your head still. they invented shotguns for teachers like you. for people who can not aim and do not understand how the human body works. you should try pissing in the toilet with the lights off too.

tiger uses this swing now dude..it will feel effortless..try it and compare..the back aint gona last long if u always keep ur head down..his back is killing him dats y tiger changed his swing..he hits more than than a thousand balls a day so why do u tink he changed to dis..90 % tour players adopt tis..its just too fast of a swing dat u guys cant see it happening wit the pros..

  16. Andreasbang26 | Mar 21, 2010 | Reply

This is nonsense. Look at Tiger’s swing in slow motion – he keeps his head down after impact!

    Howdy pajresources,
That’s the great thing about golf, as it is in Vegas, there’s a bunch of ways to roll a 6 in Vegas as there are a bunch of ways to strike a golf ball. None of which is right or wrong. What ever gets the ball in the hole with the least amount of strokes is all that matters. My method is just another actioin that may or may not work for the individual. Great opps on your behalf!
    Cheers,
    RdB

well different players have different swing styles. this doesn’t work for me. if i do this it always creates an unwanted hook. i prefer the natural turning of the club head.

  24. spider457 | Mar 21, 2010 | Reply

Haha, thats just stupid… Just look at Tiger’s swing. What he should say is that your head should move just about when your right shoulder is about in line with the impact point. Then your chin will make contact with the shoulder and your head then automatically turns towards the ball.
