longer shots comes from lag. getting your body around before the ball is hit. look at bubba his hips are at the target before he hits it, and when they say bottoming out they do not necisairly mean hitting the ground but that your are fully released before you get to the ball. Also like to say that your are supposed to hit up on your driver so then you have reduced spin.

actually, 60% of ben h ogans weight was on his front side at the top of his swing….so it was a form of an early stack and tilt!!

Went out and shot a 78 the first time i tried this. I would have shot a LOT lower if i could have made the five birdie putt’s i had from inside ten feet! FUDGE! Lol! But boy it took me about 9 holes to really get into the groove, but once i got it going, I was puring my irons and in complete control. Only problem area was wedge play, but I will get that down. I was hitting a nice low draw, ( normal ball flight before the switch was a mid draw ). It’s SO much more simple it’s funny.

I will be trying this out on the course today. I was about a 6 handicap a couple of years ago but haven’t been able to play much lately. Hit balls a few days ago and ******! Lol! So why not try something new when your current swing is WAY-a-miss! We will see how it goes, it’s a very simple swing, thats always a good thing!

stack and tilt is justa name they gave it , so tehy cam make alot of money , its all business, . Tigers weight isnt on his right side on everyshot mainly his drives yes , but if you watch his weight , it is pretty much centered

weight transfer doesnt mean longer shots , swing speed and hitting the balll square means longer shots. The stack and tilt provides less bottoming out before the ball, and chancces of hitting the ball more square more often,

longer shots with no weight transfer….. really? Interestiiiiing…

ur not understanding the stack and tilt.. this method is used to bottom the swing out in the right place.. hogan and tiger already got that worked out using w/e swing they wanna use.

Yes but you’re not Ben Hogan or Tiger Woods. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The same can’t be said for most of us mere mortals.

Stack and Tilt is not needed for a solid swing. Ben Hogan, arguably the most solid ball strikers ever didn’t use it. Tiger Woods didn’t. Tiger seems to be doing alright without it.

it’s so simple and effective. I only wish I’d learned it much earlier.!

  14. kac56 | Jul 13, 2009 | Reply

Are they saying there should be no weight shift to the right side, and back to the left side during follow-thru?

    If so, sorry, I don’t buy it….

i changed to stack and tilt and im hitting my driver 50 yards further and straight!

  16. CAsHizZ | Jul 16, 2009 | Reply

With the stack and tilt you can have a reverse pivot lose nerly 30 yards and be a bit more accurate however for average golfers the only thing this does is stop them flicking it and help them get a better impact becuase they get a bit of drive through the ball this whole swing is a shortcut to a better ballstrike and plus the best ballstriker on tour is Sergio Garcia and he dosen’t use it

if it’s so good why don’t tiger woods switch.

  18. boomboomgolf25 | Jul 19, 2009 | Reply

i dont see how this works, the whole basis of the golf swing is that from the top of the swing, the hips should draw the club down, which is the weight shift itself!
