Golf is undoubtedly one of the world’s most rewarding and frustrating sports. The serenity and beauty of a golf course on a sunny day belies the tension that can creep into a round when we’re not hitting our best. While the concentration that the game requires is often the perfect antidote to the stress of work and life responsibilities, there are times when the safe haven of 18 holes feels more like seven levels of the netherworld. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have access to a personal golf coach or trainer, and we’re forced to work out the kinks in our game on our own. Thankfully, though, there are golf clubs and training aids that can help get us back into the swing. Here are some of the most popular:Full Swing Trainers – There are several types of full swing trainers, but among the most popular is a hinged driver that gives you immediate feedback and helps you overcome slices and hooks. Another popular system involves a swing hoop and weighted club that creates the perfect golf swing. The idea is that you can adjust your swing until you gain control and can hit consistently. In the process, you strengthen the muscles specifically used in golf and build muscle memory, so that you’ll more instinctively hit the ball straight when you’re out on the course. Stance Trainers – Stance trainers focus on both sets of extremities: the legs and the arms. Many golfers underestimate the importance of the right stance in powerful, consistent hitting. Trainers that focus on the legs and feet generally work by restricting lateral movement and keeping the feet from spinning out. One popular stance trainer for the arms focuses on keeping the trailing arm from closing more than 90 degrees, while another connects the arm to the body in order to help the arm fold correctly. Both assist by keeping your golf clubs in position to achieve the proper downswing. There are also trainers that help position the wrist and hand for delayed hits, greater accuracy, and more consistency. Putting Aids – There are a variety of training aids available to help you increase your putting accuracy. In addition to the mats that are meant to mimic greens, there are putting braces, lasers that mount to the putter’s shaft, and trainers that have guidance rails to ensure that your stroke is smooth and straight. Some of the most intriguing new digital devices that read greens so that you’ll know how they break and can adjust your stroke accordingly. And Even More – In addition to the types of training aids mentioned, there is a vast array of products available that can help you with tempo, alignment, balance, weight transfer, swing analysis, and release. Although training aids can be tremendously helpful in working out the kinks in your game, the importance of good equipment can’t be underestimated. A good set of golf clubs will help you play your best, but if you can’t afford a new set, you can always opt for brand name pre-owned golf clubs. Used golf clubs often come with a certification and warranty, so you can be assured of their quality. The right golf shoes can make a significant difference in your positioning and consistency, and the comfort of the right golf apparel and golf accessories allow you to keep your mind on the game.In the end, the right golf clubs and training aids accomplish the same goal: taking the frustration out of the game and putting the enjoyment back in.

Below are five training aids golfers often ask about in my golf lessons. Designed to improve your swing or a phase of your swing, these products help correct faults, groove mechanics, and/or ingrain the feel of swing. The key, as always, is finding a training aid that works for you before investing your hard-earned money.
(And incidentally, I am in no way affiliated with these companies nor do I make money from these reviews.)

Most of the people around the world are interested to play golf, and you can find numerous golf courses across the world. However, some of the people are interested to play this gold as a hobby and some of them playing as professionalism. Most of the people around the world are having much knowledge about the golf putting techniques and here is some important golf putting grip techniques and golf putting aids. A good Golf putting Grip helps you achieve a good Golf Swing and a better chance of hitting the ball towards your target. The perfect Golf Grip allows you to comfortably keep control of the club and help you feel the connection of your hands and the club head. The Golf Putting Grip is the way you hold your club in Putting. These are modified types of the ones you used on the Tee-Box and the Fairway. Putting Grips are commonly an Overlapping Golf Grip or a Cross-Handed Golf Grip. The most important thing to remember in the Golf putting Grip is to hold the club with enough force to control it, but not tight enough that you can get blisters. If you grip your club too tight, you will likely get blisters at the part of your hand that touches the butt end of your club. It will also create tension in your hands and arms, making you less flexible for the swing. Also, remember that your palm and finger position should not change throughout the swing. Golf putting training aids helps a golfer to putt better. The whole point of the game is to get the ball in the hole and, unless you learn to putt well, your game may struggle. Putting can be challenging, even for professional golfers some days. If you have ever watched golf tournaments on television you will know what I am talking about. However, there is nothing more beautiful than watching a golfer sink a long, difficult putt for eagle. There are several different types of training aids on the market that will help you a lot, as a beginner or a professional. Finally, there are some well established and experienced web sites are offering this golf putting grip techniques and golf putting aids to their customers. For more information and details, please visit their web site.

Maybe it is because I recently attended the annual PGA Merchandise Show but training aids for golf seem like they are never ending. Every single day someone claims that they have a better mouse trap for your full swing or how to improve your putting. As with anything you can find training aids very reasonably priced and the price range can go to as much as you want to or can spend.
If you are taking lessons, it is best to determine which training aids would be best for you to use with your golf instructor. This way you do not purchase a training aid that is trying to accomplish the exact opposite of what you need to do. Believe it or not it happens more often than you think. Your friend found a practice aid that worked for them and you run out to buy it not knowing that this particular practice aid will not allow you to achieve your goal.
Once you know which training aids will help you, where should you go to purchase them? Again you have many options. Here are just a few to get you started:
Golf Course
If you are already taking lessons from a golf professional, he or she more than likely has the ability to sell the practice aid. Since you are already taking multiple lessons from them, they might even offer you a discount to purchase the training aids through them and or their facility.
Golf Store
Whether you live close to one of the “big box” golf stores or you have a small local golf store close to you, they should have plenty of practice aids available. Typically, the big box stores will have a larger selection due to their sheer size and buying power. Unless you are looking for something very specific, you should be able to find the most popular training aids available no matter the size of the store.
Online Golf Shop
As you know by shopping online, you can easily compare prices among different stores. The product will be shipped directly to you and be ready for you to use. Do not think that you automatically will pay more for the product due to the shipping cost. Many of today’s vendors offer free shipping or a shipping charge of one flat rate. You will want to make sure that the site is a safe site by the seals that they display. Another advantage to shopping online is that you will be able to find the most obscure practice aids. This could be good or bad for you. It depends if you just keep surfing or you are able to make a decision. HAHA
You can easily find the training aids that you need at your regular golf course, a local golf shop or by finding an online retailer. Keep in mind that you must find the correct practice aids to help you and your golf swing or it will all be for naught and lead to being frustrated.

You need to be consistent if you want to play better golf. For improving your game you have to practice swing regularly. Regular practice will help you to develop a perfect swing. For a perfect swing you need flexibility as well as strength. Both of these things work in synergism and in this way your game improves. Flexibility will also prevent some injuries. Golf is considered as game which is not considered strenuous but a golfer needs regular work outs for better performance and more power. Flexibility exercises reduce the stress on muscles which are used in playing golf such as lower back, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands and hips. Regular stretching exercises also remove the restriction in movement.

The second thing which you need to have for better performance is strength in muscles, tendons and ligaments. Strong muscles and ligaments will improve your posture and provides stability. Core strength is also important as it provides proper coordination. As your strength will increase you will have a better spinal alignment. A good spinal alignment will improve your swing. A bad posture and improper spinal alignment can result in bad shots.

One more thing you need to have is good balance during the swing. Good balance prevents excessive movement. A good balance will help you in having consistent and accurate swing. If you will opt for a regular exercise program it will also increase your muscular endurance. If you are having a good muscular endurance it will prevent you from fatigue which means better performance.

Whenever you talk with golfers about golf instruction, they all seem to be very interested in the latest gadget, gimmick, trend, or secret method but mention fundamentals and they tune out quicker than you can say jack rabbit.

“That’s just for beginners,” they say citing their current 19 handicap as evidence that they have progressed beyond working on their grip, posture, and alignment. But talk about the “X-Factor” or “Speed Stick” or “The Power Move” or “The Magic Pill” or “The Inside Path” or some other new-fangled gimmick and they immediately start to salivate at the thought of becoming a single digit handicapper just by buying another videotape, DVD, or gimmick.

The truth is that yes, you can play good golf even with poor fundamentals but it’s so much easier to get your golf game on track and keep it on track if your golf swing is fundamentally sound. There is a moment in every golf swing whether it be a full driver swing, a 3 foot putt, or a 30 yard pitch, that I like to call “the moment of truth.” The “moment of truth” determines whether or not a given shot will start on line and where it will finish.

This “moment of truth,” impact, is really the only thing that matters whether you’re pounding your driver or trying to coax in a 3 footer. Whether or not you can square the face of the club to the intended target line at impact determines how successful any single swing will be.

Let’s take for example, Lee Trevino. Trevino’s swing was not what you’d call classic but he was very skilled at squaring the face of the club to the target line at impact. He spent years honing his motion to a fine edge, spending countless hours on the driving range and golf course so that he could consistently square the face of the club to his intended target line. Jim Furyk is another example of someone with a less than classic motion who has major championship talent and who has spent his entire life honing his golf swing so that he can consistently square the club face to the intended target line. Fred Couples is another example and the list goes on and on. These players, all from different set-up positions, have trained themselves to square the club face to the intended target line at impact and you can too.

Having said that, let me say that most of us simply don’t have the time or talent required to hone our action to this very fine edge so it’s awesomely important that with limited practice and playing time, we give ourselves the very best possible chance to hit good shots and that means to play our best golf it would behoove each of us, no matter our current handicap, to work on developing sound fundamentals. It’s just easier with a good grip, good posture, and good alignment to hit shots that fly toward the target and that’s what we all want …..right?

So why do players who would love to play like Tiger Woods, who consistently shoot in the upper 80′s, 90′s, and worse, steer clear of the very fundamental concepts that would help them play better and shoot lower scores? Is it pride? Is it a misconception they have about what’s important? What is it? I can guarantee you that Tiger Woods works diligently on fundamental concepts like grip, posture, and alignment. He does this because he knows that if one of these fundamentals gets a little off, it will effect his entire swing. He knows this as do all tour players and most low handicappers.

Good players work consistently to develop and maintain a good grip, athletic posture, and square alignment. Bad players don’t. Players who struggle seem to work on gimmicks, fads, and tricks in an effort to improve but somehow year after year, they have a new set of clubs, new pair of shoes, the latest golf ball technology, a brand new gimmick, and yet they shoot the same old scores and hit the same bad shots.

Now I know that working on your grip, posture, and alignment are not nearly as exciting as working with the latest gadget you bought on the Golf Channel that will allow you to hit the ball 350 yards but if you’ll try working on your fundamentals as prescribed in “How To Break 90 In 3 Easy Lessons”, you’ll see results that you won’t find anywhere else. You might actually be surprised how good your swing really is when you put yourself in the optimum positions to excel.

I know it, Tiger knows it, and know YOU know it…. so get out there and get to work on the concepts that are truly essential if you are going to shoot the scores you’ve always dreamed of.

Just grip it and rip it! Some of the sagest golf advice you’ll ever hear. Just grab the club and swing and forget about everything else. Grip it incorrectly before you rip it however, and you will end up somewhere in the woods on the right or in the water on the left searching for your $4 ball. There are lots of pitfalls to avoid if you want to hit it straight. If you position both of your hands too far clockwise on the grip, otherwise known as a strong grip, you will tend to close the face of the club before contact and therefore hook the ball (for a right handed player). If you take a weak grip with your hands rotated too far counter-clockwise, you will tend to leave the clubface open and slice the ball. Hold the club too much in your palms and you will reduce your ability to cock your wrists, leading to a loss of power. Too much in the fingers and it will be difficult to control the club, reducing your consistency. Now, you can see how important it is to get your hands on the club in the correct way. Of course, there is no single right way for everyone, some players will tend to have a slightly stronger grip, some weaker. Some will use an interlocking grip, some an overlapping. But there are elements of the grip that are common and necessary to everyone, and it is important to master them if you want to lower your scores.Fortunately, people have already figured out the best elements of a good grip, and there are lots of golf training aids that make it vastly easier than it used to be to correct bad habits. Molded grips, training clubs with molded grips, and grip attachments are all extremely useful to enhance your grip. Here are a few tips for selecting a golf training aid that will maximize your benefits:1. Make sure the training aid can be used to hit balls. Short clubs with molded grips are useful, but nothing beats actually hitting shots to groove the new grip. I prefer training aids that attach to the grip of your real clubs, so that you can use them during a practice round under game-time conditions.2. If you use an interlocking grip, make sure the training device allows it to fit comfortably. Some molded grips are designed with only the overlapping grip in mind, so get the thing in your hands and test it out before you buy one.3. Practice regularly with the training aid, but make sure to alternate it with a regular club so you get used to making the grip yourself without the aid. When hitting at the range, hit 5 shots with the device and 5 without it until the grip is rock solid, then you can reduce the use of the aid, using it to hit 5 or 10 shots only at the beginning of the session.Good luck and happing ripping!
